I Know It's Been a While . . .
Where to begin? Some snapshots -- literally and figuratively - is the only way to do it. I will focus on some great trips and visitors in March and early April:
Brad & Julie, Tobiah and Adrian, came from Boulder and spent a few great days with us.
We traveled to Acco, played on the beach, ate and ate, and their last night was also my birthday dinner.
Brad & Julie's visit overlapped with the Vogels', who came and went. First they came to Haifa, then they went to Jordan and Jerusalem, then they came back. One really special thing we did was go to Vered haGalil, a beautiful ranch in the hills of the Galilee overlooking the Kineret (Sea of Galilee). Both girls got to take riding lessons.
We also went to Meggido, an incredible archeological dig.
Then the four of us started to travel:
Dead Sea and Ein Gedi:
Massada (which we climbed)
And the Nachal David hike at Ein Gedi, an oasis, is hugely refreshing:
More to come . . . and check out Raizi's blog (link on the right somewhere).
